Just follow these steps:
1)        Open any web browser (Internet Explorer), type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar, and then press Enter. You will have to enter your Asus repeater login details to sign in. The default username and password are ‘admin’, if you have never changed your password.
2)        You’ll find an Advanced Setting option, go there. In the Advanced Settings on the left side, click Administration.

3)        In the administration section, the Operation Mode tab will be selected by default. Click on the Repeater mode and then click the Save button.
4)        You’ll find a list of all the networks here. Select that network which needs to be extended. Enter the security key of that network, and then click Connect.
5)        To use that particular wireless setting as the network to be extended, keep the Use the default settings box checked. Or else, uncheck the box and type in the SSID and network key that this router will be using. It is however recommended to keep this box checked.
6)        Click on Apply to apply and save the changes. The router will apply the settings.
7)        The Asus N600 extender has now been set up successfully. Restart your Asus range Extender, most of the time, it restarts on its own.
