WPS configurations for Asus RP-N12 wifi repeater



To setup WPS configurations for the Asus RP-N12 wifi repeater, there are two methods to be followed which are as under described.

For method one here are steps which you have to follow for configuration for Asus.
1. Place your RP-N12 near to router you have and plug it to a power outlet. Make sure the wifi led light starts with blinking in green color.usb printer issue for asus device.
2. Press the WPS button which is on the router/AP. Then you have to press the button which is on RPN12. The wifi led light indicated the signal is strong if it flashes up to two minutes and changed in solid green or in red light.
3. Place the RPN-12 in an ideal location or where you want to use it. It takes to connect with your wifi about one to two minutes.

Make sure that you have placed the RPN-12 device in between the wireless device and the router and place the RPN12 in a location where you get the green led which means the signal is strong enough.
Second method setup with using the browser.
1. Plug into the power outlet to your RP-N12 after placing it to the near router you have.
2. On your wifi enabled the device to find the default network name of your RPN12 and click on the connect tab. Make sure to disconnect the Ethernet wire connection. Open the web browser and enter the address HTTP//repeater.Asus.comto access the graphical user interface of the RPN12. Here you have to enter the admin as user name and password.
3. Enter HTTP //repeater.Asus.com on the web browser. Enter the security key when required after connecting to the wifi network. Here you can enter the SSID key/password for your extended network or you can tick on the use defaulter key.
4. Here you have to connect your wireless network to the new extender work.
