Dual WAN settings for Asus wifi router
Asus wifi routers need some basic settings but for that you will need to connect your Asus device to your Asus router. When you find the back side of your Asus router, you will find that there is a LAN port at the back side of your device. this LAN port is used so connect computer to your Asus device. using Asus router sign in from computer device can change the setting like dual WAN settings for your Asus device.
How to Configure WAN Settings for Asus WiFi Router Device?
Once you are ready to access dual WAN settings for your device, you can have following steps.
1. Connect Asus device to computer. Go for the settings for QoS that are essential for the Asus wifi routers.
2. Access Asus router sign in page using http:// 192.168.0.1 IP address.
3. Get the login user name and password to your device and then select dual band option from the dashboard.
4. Using toggle button you can enable the dual WAN settings for your Asus device.
5. After that configure the primary WAN and secondary WAN option for Asus router.
6. For primary WAN you can select “WAN” option and for secondary WAN you can select “USB” option.
7. After that configure the “Dual WAN Mode” option. When you select dual WAN mode settings for your device you can choose fail over or load balance option.
8. Using “Interval” option you can configure the time interval between the data packets that you are sending or receiving to your network.
9. Click on “save” button and then you can exit from the dashboard easily.
