Setup tplink router devices to default settings


A hard reset of the device will cause to remove all the settings from the system which may lose the settings and data you have done before. Make sure to take a backup before doing resetting by visiting on the tp linkwifi setup. Do not perform the reset task until you required very hard.
To setup tplink router devices to the default settings take the steps mentioned below.
Method 1:-

To reset the router device to default settings you have directly press the reset button which is located on the router at location rear side of the panel. Just press this button for 6 to 10 seconds when the device is in running condition.
Now release the reset button and wait till the device is not rebooting. If the lights of the device go off and some lights go off slightly then it means the device is reset successfully.tplink deco whole home wifi devices.
Method 2:-
You could use the factory defaults function if you are on the management page from tp link wifi setup
Here you can go to the page Management >Restore default page, check on the Restore Default Settings and wait for the router to reboot to its factory default settings.
For ADSL modem router
For that device go to the Maintenance >SysRestart page then you have to click on to the default reset setting and click on the restart button. Till the router is not rebooting fully to factory settings you have to wait.

Make sure the steps mentioned
1. Make sure the device is on when the reboot process is taken.
2. After the reset, the default login and password both are admin due to IP address is changed to a default IP address.
3. You have to make ensure that the IP address of the computer should be in the same range as the device.
